St. Mary's, Holme-next-the-Sea

Sadly this Society of Bell Ringers has now been abandoned and no bell ringing takes place at St. Mary's Church in the village.

There are five bells at St. Mary's with the heaviest weighing about nearly 8 cwt. Here is a view of the belfry with the bells set ready for ringing.

Here is an old newspaper cutting showing that the bells in this church were ringing in the New Year 100 years ago!
